Nest + Nurture has been given its name because nurture is such an important element of the place.
A holistic approach is the backdrop to everything we do, including the therapies, retreats and workshops we offer.
Design your own retreat by adding a restorative yin yoga class, a massage with a sauna or walking and wild swimming up on Dartmoor followed by a hot tub while watching the sun go down with loved ones.
Pregnant? Why not choose a baby moon package and book a pregnancy yoga class with breath work, add a session of eft to look at empowering your birth or work within the matrix to release any fears or worries.
Unless specifically requested, all therapies and classes take place in the Phoenix Barn ‘Nurtured Soul Yoga and wellbeing Studio’.

“I recently had the enormous pleasure of a massage with Jess. I've had many massages over the years and none of them have been as thorough as this. To start with, arriving in her Devon paradise and breathing in the stunning views, helps even a hyper stressed individual like me begin to regulate!
On one level, the massage was completely relaxing (and I don't relax easily but really needed to) and the essential oils on my skin and in the air smelt delicious. On another level, the deep pressure of the massage was incredibly healing physically; removing knots and relaxing muscles that were well entrenched in their unhealthy, iron-like tension and yet, without me saying a word (truly! I was mostly silent!) Jess was gentle on areas that were tender because of a herniated disc. On a mind-blowing level, Jess read my body in a way that meant she could identify situations in my life that were stressful and unhealthy coping strategies I/my body was using to battle through. I was astonished by her intuition! She gave me advice on how to support myself in a more healthy, empowering, sustainable way which felt above and beyond what I was paying for and contributed to me feeling totally nurtured.
Reading the impressive range of qualifications displayed on the walls of the Therapy Pod I wished I could stay for some more psychological therapy in one of her EMT sessions and some more physical therapy in a sports therapy session. She offers several other therapies too, some of which I must look up! What a skilled and holistic nurturer!
After my next massage I will definitely prolong the relaxation by booking time in the hot tub and sauna and soaking up the view and fresh air!
I'm still feeling the benefits of the massage two weeks later (including soft feet with proper circulation that keeps my feet warm at night!) which has never happened before! I've also taken Jess's advice by doing yoga every morning (I had never done yoga before) and consulting a phenomenal Chiropractor. I'm so grateful to Jess for helping me draw a nurturing line that day under the new moon which helped me hold space for myself in each day ahead.
Thank you!”

“I recently came to visit Jessica at Nest and Nurture for some EFT therapy after experiencing horrendous anxiety since becoming a new mum.
Jessica was so warm, friendly and made me feel at ease straight away. Talking through my anxiety’s with Jess and her really tuning into what was triggering me and for her then to teach me how to deal with these certain triggers and emotions using the tapping technique has been life changing for me.
After my session I felt a huge weight had been lifted and felt I had regained some control back on my emotions, also having a deeper understanding of my new found self.
I really can not recommend jessica at nest and nurture highly enough and regularly urge anyone who is in a difficult place or is struggling in any way to go and pay her a visit.
She is a wonderful lady with a very special gift and I can not thank her enough for helping me.”

Jess held a wonderful nuturing safe yin yoga space. It was so relaxing and peaceful and she was so attentive to everyone's needs. I can't wait to attend another class, I really recommend giving it a go if you haven't already you won't regret it.
